Am I a HERO?
To be eligible for HERO programs and offers you are required to meet the following requirements.
HEALTHCARE: A certified or accredited, or licensed health care worker who is a medical resident or fellow; a nurse, nursing assistant, pharmacist, pharmacy technician, physician assistant, or medical technician, technologist, or therapist.
EDUCATOR: An accredited or state recognized private or public school; a certified teacher or administrator in an education agency; or an employee of a post-secondary level educational institution;
RESCUE: Sworn member of a fire department involved in fire suppression or prevention, emergency medical response, hazard materials response and/or management or response to terrorism;
OFFICER: An employee of a law enforcement agency or fire department administered by an agency or subdivision of a state or local government; or a sworn law enforcement officer responsible for crime prevention and detection, law enforcement, or criminal incarceration; military personnel and veterans;
Neighborhood HERO proudly supports those who are currently serving or have served in all branches of the military.

How can we get involved?
If you are a business and have a program/offer that you think will benefit your local HEROs, fill out the form on our "Get Involved" page and we will contact you to discuss your offer.
What is the quality of the service?
We strive to partner with businesses that provide a high level of service at a discount to you. All local companies are screened by local affiliates. While we cannot 100% guarantee another companies performance, rest assured we have a tight system in place to screen and remove businesses that do not meet our high standards.
Do you charge a fee?
NO
Do I have to live where I work?
No. While some housing programs require that you live in the city or county you work, Neighborhood HERO does not.
Will you sell my personal information?
Your privacy is very important to us. We provide you with a list of the participating businesses so that you may contact them at your convienence, they will not contact you directly -ever. The only people that may contact you will be our program administrator, Rene Jones, Founder, Christine Harper and your local Neighborhood HERO representative.
